Staff Responsibilities

Specific Staff Guidelines
- General Conduct
- Use preset :h messages from 🧾staffing-guide. Other messages require perms of HICOM+.
- Shift breaks should not exceed 10 minutes. If you need more time, please clock out.
- UC is not WL and doesn't require permissions.
- Always use at least 4 letters when moderating in-game (e.g., :kick 1las instead of :kick 1la) to avoid accidental bans/kicks. This rule is enforced, and non-compliance will result in penalties.
- Use /callsign register to register your callsign. Note that the callsign system is in BETA and may have bugs.
- New Staff HQ is at 213 parking lot.
- Equipment and Vehicles
- SWAT gear requires permissions until a dedicated department is established.
- Law enforcement Hellcat variant and exotic cars are restricted to boosters/VIP only.
- Department Creation Rules
- Department servers must be approved by an owner or co-owner.
- To be official and advertised in NYCRC, either Pinio or laser must be the owner of the Discord server.
- If a department doesn't meet the professionalism and security standards it can be rejected.
- Does a department no longer reach the required standards, a HICOM member has to warn the head of department to take action. (If the broken requirement is severe the server can be paused/temporary suspended by NYCRC HICOM untill there any any changes made)
- HICOM does not have the authority to terminate a department without the approval of the ownership team or a coordinator.
- Staff Conduct and Penalties
- Staff RDM/VDM offenses result in a kick.
- Disrespect towards staff results in a kick.
- Accumulating three kick reasons results in a ban.
- RP and activities against Roblox ToS are strictly banned.
- Acknowledgment and Communication
- During the owner's absence, Pinio is in charge of important decisions. Direct significant queries to him.
